Abstract
Indications, side effects, dosage and several pharmacokinetic properties of gentamicin, tobramycin, sisomicin, kanamycin, amikacin, and streptomycin are delt with in the first part. Hereafter, some aspects are briefly mentioned concerning combinations of antibiotics with aminoglycosides, as well as indications for the evaluation and analysis of the aminoglycoside concentration in the serum.
