Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to present a general FORTRAN emulator routine for IBM'S RANDU random number generator. The emulator should be useful to those having to convert simulation programs from IBM to other systems. It has been thoroughly tested on a CDC 6400 and should run without modification on other machines.
