Abstract

Objective: To study effect of thoracoscopic lobectomy of lung on peripheral lung cancer at early stage. Methods: Clinical data of 62 patients with peripheral lung cancer admitted from February 2011 to February 2012 were retrospectively analyzed. They were divided into experimental group and control group(31 cases per group).Patients in observation group had thoracoscopic lobectomy of lung, while patients in control group had conventional open surgery.Perioperative indexes and incidence of complications were observed and compared. Results: There were significant differences in operation time, intraoperative blood loss, chest drainage volume 1 d after surgery, intubation time, and average length of hospital stay(P0.05).Conclusions: Thoracoscopic lobectomy of lung is safe, feasible, and effecitive, and it is worth of clinical promotion.
