Abstract
This paper described source of mismachining tolerance for CNC machine tools, and analyzed the principle of CNC machining's error compensation on the basis of the existing on-line detection model of CNC machine tools. It brought forward regularity of error modeling based on multi-body system, accordingly, the corresponding characteristic matrix and transformation matrix can be found as long as the location features and sports features between the adjacent body are determined. In accordance with the rules of error model, the formula of error model and the numerical solution can be obtained to compensate error according to loading the identified error parameter. As a result, the compensation can greatly improve the machining accuracy of machine tools.
