Abstract
The SolidWorks API pivotal technologies based on VB6.0 are introduced detailedly.The process developing three-dimension-al parameterized modeling system of bevel wheel is presented. The characteristics of different methods modeling are evaluated.Two methods are proposed to analyse error of three-dimensional modeling of gear.The academic base is provided to modeling. The further applications of this method are illuminated by examples. The general method of developing SolidWorks based on VB6.0 is put forward.
