Influences of Bitongling Granule on Collagen-induced Arthritis Rats

Abstract

Objective To explore the mechanisms of Bitongling Granule on the collagen - induced arthritis rats.Methods Bovine collagen typeⅡand complete Freund's adjuvant were used for making collagen - induced arthritis in rats.The rats were weighed after modeling and treatment.Levels of TNF -αof serum and tissue homogenate.Results Bitongling high dose group significantly reduced serum and tissue levels of TNF -α,with insignificant difference with methotrexate.Conclusion Bitongling Granule has good inhibitory effect on rheumatoid arthritis.
