Abstract
The seed kernels of Corylus chinensis Franch collected from Baiyun mountain in Baojing county of Hunan Province in China were assessed.Ultrasonic extraction method was used to extract the oil from seed kernel of Corylus chinensis Franch, and the effects of ultrasound intensity, extraction time, solvent sorts,solid-liquid ratio on extraction rate were studied by orthogonal test. The optimum conditions were determined as follows:petroleum ether used as extractant, extraction time 30 min, ultrasound intensity 250 W,solid-liquid ratio 1∶ 9.Under the optimum conditions, the extraction rate was 57.84%,and the oil was orange and clear.Gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(GC-MS) analysis showed that the fatty acid contents of the oil were:oleic acid 69.54%,linoleic acid 16.09%,9-hexadecenoic acid 0.22%,palmitic acid 9.01%,stearic acid 4.44%,11-eicosenoic acid 0.24%,eicosanoic acid 0.23%,2-hexyl-cyclopropaneoctanoic acid 0.14%,and heptadecanoic acid 0.09%.Among them, the unsaturated fatty acid content was as high as 86.09%.
