Abstract

The definition and work flow of reverse engineering are introduced. The application of reverse engineering based on the software Imageware and Pro/Engineering is discussed, and the method of from the treatment of point-cloud to construction of the feature curve and surface with Imageware then all surface foundation with Pro/E is stated. And it proves to be feasible in the case of the top cover of mobile shell.
