Study on the Relation between the Pedal Length and Circumference and Body Weight in Dalian Han Nation Students

Objective: To study the relation between the pedal length and circumference and body weigh of Han nation students in Dalian. Method:According to Shao Xiangqing standard anthropometic method, we researched the body weight and pedal length and circumference of 1196(boys 591,girls 605 )Han nation students whe live in urban area of Dalian, and studied the relation of regression between the pedal length and circumference and they weight. Results: The they weight, pedal length and circumference of students increased with age. The increased values in a year included: body weight was 3. 61 kg for girls, pedal circumference was 0. 51cm for boys and 0. 37cm for girls. The regression equation from pedal circumference to calculate body weight(pedal circurnference = X, body weight = Y)was boys: Y = 6. 479X - 95. 260, girls: Y = 7. 061X - 101. 937. Conclusion: There was a positive proportion between the pedal length and circamference and body weight of Delian Han nation students.
