Abstract
Based on experiments, a mathematical model showing the relationship between Cl- mass transfer and time was created.The model was validated by the data of water diversion project from the Yellow River to Tianjin. According to the model, water quality of South-to-North Transfer Water in Bei-Da-Gang Reservoir was predicted.It is concluded that Bei-Da-Gang Reservoir can be the regulating reservoir of South-to-North Water Transfer Engineering, as long as it was well attempered.
