Abstract
A comprehensive technology of profile control is presented. It has been used to solve the problem about high concentration of produced polymer in Zhong 1 block with water flooding method after polymer injection. The optimum candidate wells are selected by the fuzzy theory based on some factors, including permeability distribution, injection profile, injection performance, pressure pull off curve and the produced polymer concentration in correspondence with oil wells. The type and volume of profile control agent are designed according to the injection behaviors. After profile control of injection wells, the apparent water injectivity indices of the treated wells are declined, and the injection profiles are improved. The produced polymer concentration in correspondence with oil wells decreases, and the oil production rate increases. The oil production of 35 wells among 49 corresponding to oil wells increases. The development result of this block is improved.
