Abstract

The development of rural tourism relies on village communities.Village residents are not only an important carrier of tourism resources,but also the key stakeholders of tourism development.The attitude of village residents toward their participation of tourism development and participating degree not only concerns about their own interests but also exerts important immediate significance to improving the experience quality of tourists,expanding rural tourism market and promoting the sustainable development of rural tourist attractions.The paper,based on literature study and on-the-spot survey,starting form the perspective of empirical economics,makes an analysis of the practice of the community people in Tianlong Village participating in tourism development,furthermore exploring and disclosing the significance of their participation in tourism development.Suggestions for improving some potential problems are also offered.
