Abstract
Cable stand and cable pulley for wire and cable laying in cable engineering were not widely accepted in engineering construction as they had some shortcomings or they could not meet the technical needs of cable engineering These restricted popularization and application of the cable stand and cable pulley.Through technical innovation, the practical and novel cable laying series tools such as self-lifting cable stand and hook-stand cable pulley were developed. These advanced tools had many advantages, such as light weight, low cost, long service life, simple operation and easy maintenance. The practice showed that these tools could obviously reduce construction costs, increase engineering quality and speed engineering progress.
