Study on the Cone Yield Change in the Clonal Seed Orchard of Pinus massoniana

Abstract
The observational and analytical results reveal that the yield variation of male and female cones in the seed orchard originates from the effects of years,clones,and the interaction between clones and years and the correlation among plant divisions or among years within their clones reaches the extremely evident or evident level.This paper,in combination with practice,also puts forward the effective technical measures of reselecting seed orchard building materials and selectively thinning the present seed orchard for raising the cone yield in the seed orchard and overcoming the few male cone phenomenon.
