Abstract
Based on the discovery of a new and very useful construction of the catalyst surface in using a new method of treatment of the traditional Cu-Ni catalyst for oil hydrogenation by a low pressure H\-2 plasma,as well as the study and development of bicomponent catalyst for oil hydrogenation and the relative technologies,we prepared a novel CIM-6 Ni catalyst for oil hydrogenation. The experiments showed that the activity of CIM-6 catalyst in hydrogenation of soyabean oil was 4.5 times and in hydrogenation of rape oil 7.3 times as high as that of SP-7 catalyst of Engelhard CO,U.S.A.,the resistance to the action of S (n(S)=3×10 -6 ) of CIM-6 catalyst was 1.6 times as high as that of SP-7 catalyst, and the selectivity of CIM-6 catalyst was better than that of SP-7 catalyst.
