Abstract
Effects of seeding quantity of seedbed on yield and quality of north non glutinous rice was studied by using the non glutinous variety Nongda 3. The result showed that the suitable seeding quantity was 150g/m2, and the highest not over 250g/m2 of rice seedling on upland field. There were no significant difference on yield, yield characteristics and qaulity of seeding quantity 50~150g/m2. If the seeding quantity exceeded 150g/m2, along with seeding quantity increased not only the yield decreased, but also the valid panicles of holl, mix1000grain weight, full grain percentage, economic coefficient, biomass yield, brown rice rate, milled rice rate, head rice rate, length/wide, gel consistency, also decreased and amylose increased obviously. Oversize seeding quantity went against increasing yield and qaulity og rice.
