Abstract
Through the experiments on non-pressure irrigation,the text studied the influence of irsigation water volume to water movement.The results show that the figure of the soil infiltration body is sphere,and it has nothing to do with external elements such as soil type,meteorological condition,etc.The experience equation has been proposed to appraise the soil infiltration body size with irrigation water volume.The distribution rule of soil moisture content show that it is closed to the change tendency of soil moisture content which lies in the per horizontal and vertical direction,the soil moisture content in the fixing point hardly changes during the irrigation process,the increasing of irrigation water volume is only used to enlarge the soil infiltration body size.The findings have the important value to formulate the irrigation water volume.
