Abstract
In this paper,starting with mechanical energy conservation and angle momentum conservation of a mass point in central conservative force field,kinetic energy of a mass point is divided into two parts including both radial kinetic energy and tangent kinetic energy.After comparing its expression with gravitational potential energy's,the concept Equivalent Centrifugal Potential Energyis brought forward.Furthermore,combining the Equivalent Centrifugal Potential Energy and the gravitational potential energy,the concept Valid Potential Energy is put forward.Finally,Valid Potential Energy is applied to solving several problems.
