Development Trend About the Weapon System of the Short Range Antimissile Naval Gun

Close-in defence weapon system is an important patr of shipborne self-defence weapon system.A latge number of small-bore rapid fire naval guns were developed steadily and have entered naval service,which helps establish important position of surface ships.The development tendency of advanced close-in anti-missile naval gun weapon system was analyzed from three aspects of rate,ammunition and missile/gun integration,The development tendency of small-bore short range anti-missile naval gun weapon system is:to increase rate of fite in order to raise hit probability,to adopt different injure mechanismammunition in ordet to improve injure probability,to emply missile/gun integrated air defense weapon system in order to improve defense airspace and ability of antisaturation attack.
