Abstract
Advanced treatment of wastewater is done as test by GAC and ultrafiltration. GAC can effectively absorb organics in wastewater from water treatment plant. With 2m GAC thicknesses and below 15mg/L of organics in water at 3m/h, 5m/h and 7m/h current velocity, GAC quantity used per ton water is some 0.2kg. Ultrafiltration test remove turbid from wastewater by over 95%. Washing ultrafiltration by washing solution made with detergent and 5% of H2SO4, 4% of NaOH is effective.
