Abstract
As a form of language,the lyrics of popular songs belong to the category of artistic language,but occupying a position in the contemporary music field demands a unique style of the singer featured by innovation in lyrics arrangement,breaking out of the conservative thinking mode.Xu Song’s creation of music achieves a breakthrough in artistic effect from the traditional.His unbridled creation style opened up a broad prospect in Chinese music.This paper elaborates lyrics from the three aspects of the complexity,strangeness and rhythm and further appreciates the value of his opuses.
