Abstract
The Fluent software was used for numerical simulation of the aerodynamic performance for wind turbines at rated wind speed and seven other speeds to analyze the characteristics of the turbine's aerodynamic performance under different speeds. The pneumatic flow field of the blade was simulated, and the load, the torsional torque, the output, and the efficiency of the blade wheel were calculated. The visual images on pressure distribution, flow rate distribution, turbulent intensity, velocity vector of the blade wheel and the whole turbine as well were given.
