Abstract
Reservoir petrophysical properties would change under long term water flooding, and reservoir heterogeneity would become even worse than the early stage of oilfield development, bringing more difficulties to oil recovery. This paper studies the change of reservoir petrophysical properties under long term water flooding through laboratory core displacement experiments. The results indicate that core permeability decreases after long term water injection or white oil injection.A microscopic dynamic model has been established based on experiment data to analyze the reasons for permeability decrease.
