Abstract
Objective To observe the effect of leflunomide combined with methotrexate in treating rheumatoid arthritis clinical effect and its safety. Methods 80 cases of patients with rheumatoid arthritis were randomly divided into two groups, 40 patients with methotrexate in Calais leflunomide therapy as the observation group, 40 patients using methotrexate plus sulfasalazine treatment as the control in the treatment group, 6 months for patients with joint comprises a joint swelling, joint tenderness and morning stiffness time were detected in detail record, the two groups were observed and compared the clinical efficacy, while the patients in the two group therapy during the occurrence of adverse reactions were statistically analyzed. Results In the observation group, the total effective rate was 82.50%, the control treatment group total effective rate was 52.50%, the observation group was significantly superior to the control group (P0.05). Two groups of patients with adverse reactions mainly gastrointestinal discomfort, skin itching, skin, wherein the observation group 3 cases of adverse reactions occur, the control group of 4 cases of adverse reactions, adverse events rates of the two groups had no significant difference(P0.05 ). Conclusion The use of leflunomide combined with methotrexate in treating rheumatoid arthritis, and obvious curative effect, less adverse reactions, is worthy of clinical use.
