Abstract
Electronic transmission microscope was used to examine the mesophyll cell ultrastructure of cucumber seedling leaves during low temperature. The results showed that low temperature stress had effect in different degrees on the ultrastructure of dissimilar cold resistance cucumber seeding leaves, its destructiveness was also little on the ultrastructure of low-temperature resistant lines leaves, plasmolysis was light, starch grain of chloroplast reduced, the shape of few mitochondrion changed, the others were similar.Whereas destructiveness was serious on the ultrastructure of the low temperature sensitive lines leaves, plasmolysis was severe, capsul of chloroplast and grana lamella were disorganized, capsul of mitochondrion was destructed.
