A Comparative Study on the Self-esteem of College Students in Different Family Environments

Abstract

Objective: To explore the influence of different family environments on the formation and development of college students and to search approaches to improve the self-esteem of college students. Methods: 540 college students in Fuzhou were investigated by FES and SE. And all analysis was based on the collected data. Result: There are distinct differences in scores of the self-esteem of college students grown up in different family environments. Conclusion: Different family factors affect the self-esteem of college students in different dimensionality. The more comfortable and harmonious the family environment is, the higher score of self-esteem college students will get.
