Abstract
Objective:To establish a direct method for determination of calcium in milk or daily drinks by flame atomic absorption spectrometry(FAAS).Methods:By directly diluted with lanthanun oxide solution, the calcium in milk or daily drinks was determined by FAAS.Results:The RSD(n=6) of this method was less than 2.0%,the spiked recoveries were in the range of 90.0%~105.7%(0.4 mg calcium was spiked) and 93.7%~108.5%(0.8 mg calcium was spiked),respectively.Comparing with the standard method,no significant derivation was found by T-test.By this method, some real samples were determined, the calcium content were very close to the value listed in the package. Conclusion:This method is easily operating,time-saving and accurate,so it is very suitable for routine volume-tests.
