Abstract
Vitamin C can reduce H3[P(Mo3Ol0)4] produced by the reaction between PO43-and Mo(VI) quantitatively to phosphorus-molybdenum blue, the maximum absorption wavelength was 710 nm,with e710=4.8×103L/mol·cm.Beer's law was obeyed in the concentration range of vitamin C from 1.0 to 80.0 μg/mL,the linear regression equation was A=-0.01747+0.02722ρ(μg/mL) with a correlation coefficient of 0.9992,and the detection limit was 0.23 μg/mL.This method has been successfully applied to the determination vitamin C in the fruits samples.
