On the Reform and Improvement of People's Jury System in China

As a kind of judicial way absorbing the common people to participate in,the people's jury system contains the value of political democracy,judicial democracy and judicial justice.However,with the legal con- struction making steady progress and its shortcoming of its own tripping up continuously,the function of people's jury system starts dying down,hardly making it difficult to carry out its independent value effectively.So,accord- ing to a certain mode,we should remold the system on the foundation of existing system,to make it play a con- struetive role.
