Abstract
A typical high building named Hongyan with 30 layers, located on the eastern side of Wuyi Nan road,Fuzhou,is selected as the noise monitoring site. Results show that the road traffic noise begins to increase and then decrease while the high increased in the vertical distribution, and the noise is at its maximum level when height is the ninth floor under the influence of absorption, reflection of avenue trees,car-body itself and road surface. Therefore,it is concluded that the recommended forecasting model can not accurately predict the vertical distribution of the sound field along high building, while the analogical monitoring is relatively reasonable for noise prediction.
