Abstract
The effects of mowing frequency on the chlorophyll content,root activity,diurnal variation of soil respiration rate and soil release CO2 of Cynodon dactylonturf were studied in the experiment.The results showed that:1)The mowing enhanced root activity of Cynodon dactylon and increased its leaf chlorophyll content,and once every two weeks was the best mowing frequency.2)The change trend of diurnal variation of soil respiration rates were similar under the three treatments of mowing frequency,but there were significant differences in soil respiration rates among treatments(P 0.05).During July and September,soil respiration rate was highest under mowing frequency of once a week.3)The effects of mowing frequency on the value of Q10 were different in each month,they were showed mowing once a weekcontrolmowing once two week in July,controlmowing once two weekmowing once a week in August,and no significant differences in September.
