Abstract
Objective To compare the curative effect of different operative method in the treatment of gluteal muscle contracture(GMC).Methods Retrospective analysis was given to 223 cases of gluteal muscle contracture.103 cases of gluteal muscle contracture were treated with large incision and excision of fibrous contracture tract(large incision group);120 cases of gluteal muscle contracture were treated with small incision and cutting of fibrous fascicular tract(small incision group).Results 90 cases were excellent,13 good in the large incision group;105 cases were excellent,15 good in the small incision group.Conclusion The small incision operation is a satisfactory method for the treatment of gluteal muscle contracture,which has the advantage of less complication and quicker recovery after operation.
