Abstract
OBJECTIVE To evaluate inhibitory of Sanqingjiangtang decoction on activity of alpha-glucosidase.METHODS By establishing inhibitory model of alpha-glucosidase in vitro,Sanqingjiangtang decoction was screened, activity was assayed by the PNPG substrate and acarbose as control.RESULTS It was found that petroleum ether, ethylacetate and n-butanol extracts had higher inhibitory effect on yeast α-glucosidase than acarbose, and only n-butanol extract had higher inhibitory effect on activity of rat intestinal α-glucosidase than acarbose.CONCLUSION All the extracts from Sanqingjiangtang decoction has inhibitory effect on activity of α-glucosidase,n-butanol extract has inhibitory effect on activity of rat intestinal α-glucosidase.
