Abstract

Objective To evaluate the relationship and the clinical characteristics of the pulmonary tuberculosis co-existing lung cancer in the older. Methods Retrospectively analyzed the clinical data of 454 cases of tuberculosis patients(some of them with lung cancer at the same time). Results There were about 68.5% tuberculosis patients with more than 50-year-old;among them there were 32 cases co-existences,and male patients account 78.1 %;87.5% lung cancer occurred with non-active tuherculosis. Conclusions Tuberculosis often occurs in the middle-aged and aged,The risk of male patients with lung tuberculosis to get lung cancer is higher than that of female patients because the clinical features of pulmonary tuberculosis with lung cancer is not typical,it's easy to miss diagnosis, misdiagnosis and easy-to delay treatment,so it should be in a high degree of vigilance and should be rechecked in a timely manner. Key words: Tuberculosis; Lung cancer
