Abstract

All kinds of muscle nutrients from transgenic carp with foreign growth hormone gene and common carp (Cyprinus(cyprinus)carpio haematopterus ) were measured . It consists of crude protein, crude fat, ash, water, Ca, Mg, Zn, Fe and the amino acids. The results showed that the contents of crude protein were 17.52% and 17.45%, crude fat 2.55% and 2.83%, ash 1.29% and 1.23%, water 78.85% and 78.27%, total amino acids 16.54% and 16.77%, total essential amino acids 7.80% and 7.83%, respectively. With statistics analyzing, there were insignificant differences between the data . Although, the contents of 4 elements of transgenic carp were slightly higher than those of common carp, there was also no difference between them by statistic analysis. so, there was hardly any effect on muscle nutrients for transgenic carp carried with foreign genes.
