Abstract
With the development of ecological tourism,more and more support and guidance by new theories is needed in the planning ofecological tourism zones.The theory of Ecosystem Health is used in the planning of Niyanghe Ecological Sightseeing Tourism Zone in Tibet withrivers, vegetation,villages and small towns and traffic as the main concern of the overall planning.Emphasis is placed on the health of naturalecological system and human ecological system.Also attention is directed to the harmonious balancing of each sub-ecological system on thebasis of spatial arrangement,trying to reach the goal of achieving both ecological health and tourism development.[
