CURRENT STATUS AND FUTURE PROSPECT OF ENGINEERING BLASTING AND EXPLOSIVE MATERIALS IN CHINA

Abstract

The paper,by taking typical engineering blasting cases as instances,presented and summarized the current status and great technological fruits in the field of engineering blasting in China in terms of surface long-hole bench blasting,underwater blasting,frozen soil engineering blasting,chamber blasting,demolition blasting in city and explosion working.This was followed by an introduction of the types and output of the explosive materials,the new production technologies of the industry explosives and site mixing loader(especially for the powder emulsion explosive),and the status and developing history of the explosive materials(especially digital detonator and plastic conducing tube)in detail.The author,combining his own country's status in the field of engineering blasting,looked into the development prospect and the difficulties needed to be attacked in the future,and encouraged his colleagues to understand the current status,look into the future,take the opportunities so as to realize a big leap forward of blasting technology in 21st century.
