Abstract

Objective To investigate the clinical characteristics of the patients who got the HIV merger fundus lesions. Methods A retrospective study on data of 22 cases with HIV merger fundus lesions, all patients were checked by fundus examination, fundus fluorescence angiography and ocular ultrasonic-B,and analyzed the results as well. Results After the inspection, among the 22 patients,34 eyes showed tortuous blood vessels on their fundus, presented a brush shape,a flake shape bleeding appeared in peripheral vascular. Conclusion HIV merger fundus lesions can be diagnosed by the clinical manifestations, medical history, fundus examinations, ocular B ultrasonic tests, and fundus fluorescence angiography,if conditions permit,we can proceed the viral DNA type chekers,to facilitate the diagnosis of the infection type.
