Abstract
Objective To explore the relationship between perfectionism and and procrastination.Method 700 college students were investigated by Frost Multidimensional Perfectionism Scale and Procrastination Questionnaire.Results The procrastination score of College students was(2.70±0.54),and perfectionism score was(2.78±0.54).The scores of high-perfectionist was higher than that of low perfectionist on procrastination beginning and total scores of procrastination(P0.05).There are some relations,to different degrees,between perfectionism and procrastination(r=-0.09~0.41,P0.05).The factors of perfectionism can predict procrastination except for parents expectation.Conclusions High perfectionist behaves with more procrastination,and perfectionism has an important influence on procrastination.
