Abstract

A HPLC method was established for the determination of biotin in health foods. The HPLC used Hypersil ODS column,a mixture of CH3CN+0.05 mol/L KH2PO4(15+85,pH=3.5) as mobile phase and UV detection at 200 nm.The recovery was 86.8%~106.0%,The RSD was 8.4%,the detection limit was 0.5 mg/kg. The method is simple, accurate and reproducible.
