Abstract

All the polyols that can react with TDI and other isocyanates to form polyisocyonate prepolymer,including monomers,castor oil and its alcoholysate and hydroxyl resin,can be classified into the concept of polyol precursor of prepolymer.The dolyol should be divided into two groups—polyol precursor of and hydroxy component for 2K PU coatings.The basic function of precursor in prepolymer and significance of research on the precursor are discussed.
