Abstract

The ZAlSi7MgA aluminum alloy (ZL101A) is melted with rare earth agent to get high strength rare earth aluminum alloy, the rare earth foam aluminum alloy can be prepared in laboratory by adding alloy adhesive and vesicant to the above mentioned aluminum alloy. The results show the air hole ratio in the foam alloy is 12.8%~33.5% under the ordinary air press condition.
