Abstract

According to the construction characteristics and the specialties of the transverse stress distribution in the top slab of prestressed concrete box girder bridge, two improvements on the sub model method based on the conformation of the internal force are made. The influence of construction method is considered in the entire analysis, and the influence of transverse factors on transverse normal stress is considered in the submodel. The transverse normal stress distribution patterns of bridge deck structure under the conditions of different locations in transverse direction of bridge, different parameters of carriage axles and different prestress losses are analysed. The main reason which induced the longitudinal cracks in prestressed concrete box girder is researched from the viewpoint of transverse stress of bridge deck. The analysis method of local mechanical state prestressed concrete box girder bridge deck is summarized which could be a reference for designing and maintenance management.
