Abstract

Objective To investigate the feasibility of the regional excision of parotid gland in the treatment of Warthin' s tumor. Methods The regional excision of parotid gland with retaining parotid duct was applied in 26 cases with Warthin' s tumor. Results 26 patients had been followed up for 1 - 5 years, and no case recurred. Conclusion For Warthin's tumor at the posterioinferior portion of parotid gland, the clinical effect of the regional excision is reliable with less complications.
