The Design of Butterworth Low-pass Filter Based on WEBENCH

Abstract

A design of the Butterworth low-pass filter is proposed based on WEBENCH software.The paper explores theoretical characteristics of Butterworth low-pass filter,and the design of the two-order filter circuit with voltage-controlled voltage source.The design of Butterworth low-pass filter has been simulated through TI WEBENCH software so that the operational amplifier and peripheral components parameter of the filter are determined.The validity of the design scheme is verified through the analysis of frequency response and step response of filter closed loop.Research shows that it can complete the filter design rapidly and effectively by using WEBENCH software,and it has some referential values for the design of the actual filter.
