Abstract
Karst gorge area, a common physiognomic type in Guizhou province, is a special section system on the matter and energy function. This paper discusses the types,characters and eco-environment characteristics in karst gorge areas and puts forward some patterns and approaches of eco-economic development which is suitable for karst gorge areas.
