The Origin of Modern Poetry and A-Hundred-Year Poetic Style Construction

The key to the problems in Chinese a-hundred-year poetic style of modern poetry construction can be found in the emerging process of Chinese modern poetry.The emergence has offered opposition to archaic poetry,resulting in unfair judgment of archaic poetry composition and biased construction of modern poetry.Due to the characteristic of modern poetry in the emerging period,the free poetic style has maintained a hundredyear dominance,preventing the development of other poetic styles.As a result,no fixed or quasi-fixed poetic style has been set up.Furthermore,the neglect of metrical form of poetry is also a hindrance to the exploration of modern poetry meter.The modern poetry construction over the one hundred years has experienced the liberalization of poetic style and marginalization of metrical form.
