Abstract

The thermalgravimetric analysis was used to study the pyrolysis of two samples of sewage sludge from Nangchang city and the TG-DTG curves are obtained.Experiments of sewage sludge pyrolysis were performed in a resistance furnace.The result showed there are three stages during the pyrolysis:dehydration、the degradation of organic material and the decomposition of inorganic material;The composition of the gaseous products of pyrolysis have shown that CO2,CO,H2,C2H4 and C2H6 are the main components,At the lower temperature CO2 is the dominant gaseous species,Increasing the pyrolysis temperature lead to a decrease in CO2,and to an increase in CO and H2 over the whole range of temperatures studied in this work.
