Abstract
A wireless remote terminals of temperature data acquisition and monitoring was designed based on GPRS /GSM hybrid communications, which can samples data at adjustable intervals and uploads the data to the remote monitoring centre and monitoring personnel can send control commands, and they can view field data and accept the temperature alarm through short message system(SMS).This terminal system used single chip STC12C5A60S2 as the controller, and used DS18B20 as temperature sensor,it also used GTM900C wireless module embedded TCP/IP protocol for temperature data collection and monitoring. The characteristics of the terminal system implements both GPRS and SMS transmission, and it ensures data transmission efficiency and economy and improves the reliability and flexibility of data transmission.
