Is There A Third Way Out?——Challenging and Rectifying the Theory of State Based on Liberalism and Holism

Because freedom,mankind can be the unfinished doer who can realize all possibilities.We are the beings who can open ourselves to each other,and show our own existence.Therefore,free people must be able to understand each other with mutual recognition,mutual respect,and coexistence.This means that free people start by living in some kind ethical community,and there can be no non-social natural state.Meanwhile,although mankind found their existence in society from the onset human history,this human society has been a kind of socialorganization rather than a colony ants,because this society has been a community developed by free individuals.In this sense,the individual members capable freedom proceed and go above the community in which they live.As a result,on the one hand,the state can not be directly built out the contract;it must have ethical society as its foundation.Therefore,the state bears the ethical mission.On the other hand,there is no reason for the state to override the freedom individual members.On the contrary,the primary mission the state is to maximize its effort to maintain and safeguard the universal freedom individuals.
